With a wide variety of resins and extensive processing capabilities, we believe we are your total solution for any injection molding project. We primarily work with commodity resins as a large percentage of our client base develops consumer goods. We have roughly 800 different resins. While we are capable of working with millions of different materials, we generally handle a standard group of about 30 of the most in-demand resins in the industry.

Some of Our Most Popular Resins Include:

  • Polycarbonate
  • Polypropylene
  • Polyethylene
  • Polystyrene
  • Polyphenylene
  • PMMA (Acrylic)
  • ABS

Our Process

It is crucial for our customers to understand the entirety and importance of the process in order to develop the ideal parts for their projects. We work with each individual customer every step of the way to determine their goals and streamline our approach, ensuring efficiency. There are many elements to consider when choosing a resin, such as:

  • Application Environment
  • Lifespan
  • Chemical/Toxin Requirements
  • Strength/Durability
  • Rigid or Flexible
  • Flame Rating & Regulatory Compliance
  • Safety Assurance
  • Different Regulations for the US, CAN, UK

A part’s material is determined by its future application, which is why each step of the planning process is carefully developed. Resin development is conducted during the tool design stage for this reason. See our Tooling Development page to learn more about the entirety of our development process.

Commitment to Quality & Safety

The recent surge in legislation and requirements surrounding environmentally and health-conscious practices has brought consumer health to the forefront. It is imperative that our quality control measures are seamless and our clients feel confident with the materials they are utilizing. Polymer Engineered Products strictly adheres to all RHS (regulatory hazardous substances) requirements, providing our clients with certificates of compliance to ensure they are meeting the top industry standards.

Additionally, we aim to meet Proposition 65 regulations so our clients are free to do business in California as well as the rest of North America. While the intended market does determine the number of safety regulations required, we are always willing to help our clients navigate required safety standards and develop a product that meets all of their needs.
